About the Role:
Anand Rathi Global Finance is looking for an experienced lawyer to serve as Assistant Vice President-Litigation in its Legal & Compliance department. All litigation, including civil, criminal, commercial, regulatory, and arbitration disputes, must be fully owned by the position. The chosen applicant will collaborate closely with business units, external legal advisors, and senior leaders.

Principal Duties
- Oversee and direct all legal proceedings, including those involving civil, criminal, regulatory, and arbitration matters.
- Create a litigation plan and oversee the cases’ development.
- Communicate with internal departments and work together with outside counsel.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, ensuring internal frameworks are adhered to.
- Create litigation updates and provide senior management with status reports.
Qualifications Standards
- An LLB in law from an accredited university
- Eight years or more of experience in litigation and dispute resolution
- It is advantageous to have prior experience in corporate legal departments or law firms handling financial sector litigation.
- Thorough familiarity with Indian criminal, business, and regulatory law
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication abilities
